Hydropath Technology
is not "new". This technology was originally developed during the
early 1990's , and in 1992 the pre-production
units were
tested by British Gas to see if they could help reduce costs of
maintenance contracts on boiler and instantaneous hot water equipment.
This technology SC proved to be a huge success, far over and above
both chemical & physical treatment systems tested. British Gas
estimated that Hydropath units would reduce their maintenance contract
costs by over $25 million in under 5 years. British Gas remains one of
our largest and most loyal clients to date, employing Hydropath units in
any contracted facility having problems with limescale.
Today, further
improvements have been made to the system design which have increased the
effective performance by over 10x the effectiveness of the pre-production units
initially tested by British Gas. Hydropath units now
provide effective treatment for additional types of systems, including
cooling towers, chillers, pools & spas, ponds, steam boilers, and a vast
range of specialty equipment. Not only can this technology be used in
traditional facility systems, but many of our clients have found that
it can provide a significant improvement to their proprietary
processes, and often provide a significant market edge in producing their products.
